This small beachfront community is known for its breathtaking ocean views over the Sea of Cortez and excellent fishing. After checking into the hotel, we will have the opportunity to relax and fellowship by the beachfront pool. Dinner will be at the Bay View Bar and Grille at the southern end of the hotel.
Day 2: July 29th
Las Brillas to Todo Santos Baja SUR
Today, we will ease into our first day with a departure time of around 10:00 AM. This will give us ample time to enjoy breakfast before our morning drives meeting. Our first stage for the day will be a drive north up the East Cape, alongside the Sea of Cortez. This will be a slower-paced drive at first, allowing you to become familiar with the Can-Am and its functions.
As we reach the beaches of El Cardón, we will stop on the beach. Here, you can dip your feet in the water or take the plunge, as the water temperature should be around 80 degrees. After a rest, we will encounter some mountainous cliff terrain. This will also be a cautious drive, as there is a sheer cliff down to the Cortez on one side. This epic trail offers some of the best views in Baja.
As we descend down the back side of the cliffs, we will arrive at a paved road leading to our lunch destination for the day, "The Bay of Dreams." This unique private resort that kindly allows us to stop and enjoy the views while we have lunch and drinks.
After lunch, we will head back on the trail for our second stage of the day. We will off-road southeast through some fast, fun, soft trails with overhanging trees giving us a chance to really accelerate the Can-Am X3’s. Along the way, we will encounter a few road sections and residential areas, so we must proceed with caution. As we approach the end of this stage, the view of the Pacific Ocean will be overwhelming as we pull right onto the beach for a full stop to regroup. After taking in the views, our last stage of the day will be beach driving down to the beautiful town of Todos Santos, Baja Sur, for the night. Upon arrival at the hotel Casa Tota, we will have a chance to wash before we and reminisce on the day before going to dinner.
City - Todo Santos
The town is located on a mesa to the west of the Sierra de La Laguna mountain range, equidistant between the resort cities of Cabo San Lucas to the south and La Paz to the northeast. Blessed with the most favorable climate in Baja Sur, Todos Santos is a haven for artists, craftsmen, surfers and travelers seeking adventure, natural beauty and a healthy lifestyle. It is here that rich history, centuries’ old traditions and warm hospitality blend with modern conveniences to make this a magical community. We welcome you to experience the fine dining, unique resorts, excellent shopping and renowned galleries of Todos Santos, Baja’s one and only “Pueblo Magíco”

Day 3: July 30th
Todo Santos to San Carlos Baja SUR
Breakfast at 7 a.m., departure at 8 a.m. We'll start our day with a drive north up the Pacific Ocean. Today, we put in some big miles, roughly 200 miles of fast fun and excellent dirt trails. Stage one will be beachfront driving before moving off the coastline to more hard-packed trails lined with the famous Baja cactus forests. These southern trails are some of the best in Baja and allow you to get some miles in, but drive at your pace as the cactus known as the jumping choia are always lurking trail side. Hard-packed soft sand whoops (huge over sized speed bumps or small jumps) allow your Can-Am suspension to suck up most of the whoops, on occasion you will encounter a larger then normal whoops and it will be necessary to slow down for. Lunch on the run today as we refuel our mecheins and bellies. We will finish off the day's second stage into the city of San Carlos. Day two will be long, but extremely enjoyable, fast and scenic as we enter the Hotel Mar Y Arena located inches from the world famous Magdalena Bay on the Pacific Ocaen. We will plan dinner time once we check in and enjoy the convenience of the hotel.
City - San Carlos - Magdalena Bay
San Carlos, also known as Puerto San Carlos, is a fishing community facing the Pacific Ocean, in Magdalena Bay of Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Magdalena Bay is 31 miles long and runs along the western coast of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. The bay is protected from the Pacific Ocean by the unpopulated sandy barrier islands of Isla Magdelena and Isla Santa Margarita.
The bay is particularly noted for the seasonal migration of the California gray whales that come to calve during the winter. The bay is also a popular sport fishing location that is filled with mangroves that are a sanctuary for hundreds of species of spawning fish.

Day 4: July 31st.
San Carlos to La Paz Baja SUR
We will depart the hotel at 8 am today, breakfast at 7 am, as normal, we will start heading back south down the Baja peninsula toward La Paz. Once again we will cross the Baja Peninsula from the Pacific to the Cortez, but today we add a little more challenge. Starting on day four, our first stage will take us east through the San Carlos farmlands before heading out to the mountains of Sierra de la Gianta. These trails can be very rocky and at times must be navigated slowly. The roughly 85-mile stage of mountains, canyons, and rock formations. We will be in a very remote location of Baja that we have named the “Never Never” (no support, not often driven). Our lunch destination for stage one is San Evaristo. San Evaristo is a cheery little village at the northern end of this coastal road north from La Paz, Perched on the side of a lagoon on the Sea of Cortez. Fresh ceviche caught that day will be on the menu as we eat on the beach. Stage two will take us from San Evaristo to La Paz, hugging the coastline down the Sea of Cortez on some fast smooth trails—roughly 90 miles to the Hotel. We will stop for some amazing photo ops as the backdrop of the Cortez makes for amazing pictures. As we enter the city, we will have to drive through the city to the Hotel for the night, the waterfront hotel located inside a private marina overlooking a beautiful array of private yachts.
City - La Paz
LLa Paz is the state's capital located in the southern end of the Baja California peninsula, tucked between the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Sea of Cortez to the east. La Paz has a unique natural beauty thanks to its privileged location, with the ocean as its main protagonist. The varied landscape also encompasses arid terrain, mountainous areas, mangroves, and abundant fauna.
Our capital is one of three coastal capitals in Mexico, and it’s currently home to the largest population in the state of Baja California Sur. The climate is dry most of the year, and the average annual temperature is 64 to 72 degrees, and has some of the most beautiful beaches in Baja.

**Day 5: August 1st
La Paz to Cerritos
Our final ride will take us from the Sea of Cortez back across the peninsula toward Cerritos Beach, located on the Pacific Ocean. Today’s journey will feature a mix of terrain, beginning with mountainous, jungle-style driving. We’ll navigate through overhanging trees and soft, loamy sand trails before emerging into the open desert. These fast trails, which are often part of the Baja 1000 races, are semi-technical but definitely achievable. After approximately 65 miles, we will reach the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. The group will conduct a check-in before heading south through Todos Santos once again. Our destination, Cerritos Beach Surf Resort, is about 10 miles out of town. We plan to arrive in the early afternoon so we can check in and gather for drinks and food..
City - Cerritos
Cerritos Beach, also known as Playa Los Cerritos, is a popular surfing beach in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It's located in the small farming community of El Pescadero.
